Richie; A brother-in-law who was always welcoming and kind. He always asked about how our family was doing, mentioning each one by name. Richie enjoyed cooking for family and friends as much as he enjoyed sharing the meal with them. He always said " I love you " to us at the end of a conversation before hanging up the phone. This is how we will always remember you in our hearts ... and smile .❤️

Richie (Mooney) was a constant in my house when I was growing up. A lifelong friend of my bother Gerry, he loved scouting and camping and my Uncle George and Mr. Abbate were scoutmasters of troop 201 in Brooklyn and Ten Mike River Boy-scout camp. In later years we would stay in touch via phone or facebook and if possible when I came home from California we would try to meet up. We would talk about our tomatoes and how to make a good sauce. He loved music and would always be ready to go to a live concert. Although health issues burdened him these last few years, I pray he is enjoying the beautiful outdoors now with my brother Gerry , at a Boy Scout camp in paradise. Rest in peace Gina Gambino-Mistretta

One of the sweetest and kindest person I had the pleasure to know. I will miss our phone calls and chats about our neighborhood and friends. Rest in peace. I'll see you on the other side. Joe Mistretta
