Obituary For Ralph De Filippo

Ralph De Filippo was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 18th, 1960. Ralph was the most devoted family man. The beloved husband of 43 years to his wife Marianne, amazing father to his children Jaclyn, Rodney, Christine, Alyssa and Martin, and the best Pop to Rocco, Jaden and Mickey. He was the man everyone wanted to be friends with and he never met a stranger that didn’t become a friend for life. Ralph was a huge sports fanatic with his memorabilia collection surpassing that of the Hall of Fame. As a life long fan of the New York Rangers, the New York Mets and the Dallas Cowboys, he was no stranger to disappointment. Ralph was a butcher for 50 years and loved what he did.

In true Ralph fashion, he fought the biggest fight of his life to the very end. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and three daughters on October 3, 2024.

Ralph was a true gentleman, he was a Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.....his family were truly blessed to have him in their lives, but many happy memories will live in their hearts...when I went to the butcher, Ralph was there with a big smile on his face, always talking about Marianne and his kids..... He once told me about opening up his own smoked meat restaurant, I told him about a place on the Gowanas Canal, and told Ralph, he could be as successful as they were.....I told him if I win the Lottery I'd donate to the family business... Ralph will truly be missed, may he be at peace now with the Angels above, my prayers for his entire family, 😢💔
