Our lives have forever been changed as we lost our dear father, husband, grandfather and brother Maurizio Coco. He was taken from us on May 13, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Natalina Coco. He leaves behind his daughter Rosemarie and son Joseph, along with their spouses, Lenny and Antonella. He adored his six beautiful grandchildren, Vito, Lenny, Maurizio, Annalisa, Maurizio and Andrew. They were his pride and joy, his treasures. He was a wonderful brother to his siblings, Teresa, Carolina, Vincenzo and Giovanni.

Maurizio was born on February 12, 1946 in Umbriatico, Italy. He immigrated to the United States in 1971 at the age of 25. He began as a worker in a tablecloth factory. From there, he got a job as a construction worker. He worked long and hard to always provide for his family. His family was his life.

Maurizio overcame many health issues over the course of his life. He was strong willed and never gave up. He always fought hard and bounced back from his many illnesses. We always referred to him as a “cat with nine lives.” Unfortunately, this time was different. He is at peace now with all his loved ones in heaven. No more suffering. We will miss him always and carry him in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace our sweet angel. Until we meet again.
