Daniel Barreto (NO FEAR) January 4, 1967- June 11, 2022

Gone Too Soon! He was a Loving Father, Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Loyal Friend. Danny, also known as Boggie around the neighborhood was a Gentle Giant who had a Heart of Gold that was bigger than his stature and who truly loved everyone he encountered. He was funny, fearless, friendly and family orientated. He was everyone’s Go-to-Guy for anything you needed at any time day or night. He loved doing construction on houses, building things and fixing everything. Danny loved his family and friends as well as children and dogs. He was a like a 2nd Dad to many children in the neighborhood and always looked out for them. Danny especially loved his Mom and Titi Aly and took great care of them. He would drive them to doctor appointments and watch novelas with them. Danny truly loved adored his first born son Daniel II, and his Very Best Friend Radar. They were his heart and soul. He also loved his sister, Vivian dearly and would go out of his way to drive her to school and dress up as Santa Claus for her students. On any given day or night you could see Danny around 60th Street and Sunset Park Brooklyn talking to people, honking his horn, waving and stopping to say hello. He loved eating Johnny’s, Yayos, and Palacio Chino’s food. He especially loved eating a good juicy steak. Danny also loved sweets like chocolate chip cookies, Hershey Kisses, Cannoli Cream and Junior Cheesecake. It’s probably why he was so SWEET. Danny was also extremely loved, adored and respected by all who knew him and he was everyone’s Superhero, Protector and Handyman. He spent his entire life doing God’s work, helping others and being generous to everyone. He Was and Always will be Our Guardian Angel in Heaven. Danny touched the lives of so many people and his legacy will live on in our hearts. Daniel Barreto will Always be a Legend in our eyes and Someone Very Special who will be missed, but never ever forgotten. May He Rest In Eternal Peace!
